As a photographer, I have done a few elopements. I adore them so much, a couple’s wedding day is such an intimate and joyful occasion. This was no different.

We met on a beautiful morning outside of the adorable Hyde Park Village, where they said their vows and exchanged rings. There were a few people walking their dogs, and we got some heartfelt congratulations and hoots. After finally tracking down a second witness for a signature on the marriage license (everyone thought we were just trying to solicit or get a petition signature!!!!!) we shared some laughs and began our trek through the Village to snag some portraits of the newly married couple.

Even though it was January, it was sweltering and about 100% humidity so we made a stop at good ole Buddy Brew for some iced coffee and continued on our way. These two were so sweet to work with and I wish them all of the best in their future!!!
